“1. Teachers are caring and loving and always available to speak with parents. As are the director and owner. 2. Academics. The learning is not 'sit down and do worksheets' which at first I was skeptical about, but my son is getting really good at writing letters (at age 3.5), and even though his older sibling helps reinforce somethings (like counting by 10's, etc.) capability of handwriting and other reinforcement is something learned through the KA. 3. The facility is clean and the open rooms create a welcoming and sharing atmosphere. 4. The owner, director and staff are very good with children with allergies or other conditions that restrict a child while at the same time treating each child the same - trying hard not to let a child feel left out or "different". 5. There is NO television!”

“My daughter started attending at 5 months old, and is now 2 years old. I have always been able to communicate well with my daughter's teachers about health needs, development, behavior, daily activities... They are genuinely concerned for my daughter's health, education, and for her daily enjoyment of school. They have always been able to address specific requests and individual needs. I feel my daughter is safe, cared for, and enjoys her time spent at daycare. There are always fun activities and art projects planned for them, that encourage learning and development of age appropriate skills. I actually drive well out of my way to bring her here, and pass 3 other daycares that are closer. We looked at the other places, but were not satisfied with the facilities and / or care given. I would not send her anyplace else, Kiddie Academy of Harleysville is the best!.”
