Meet the Owners

Patrick and Sarah Newell

Sarah and Patrick Newell are extraordinarily proud to bring their family’s passion and experience in the field of education to their Kiddie Academy of Helotes early childhood education center. Partnering with a national brand like Kiddie Academy to bring their community high quality early childhood education has been a dream of theirs since Sarah began teaching pre-kindergarten curriculum in 2011. Being able to positively impact children’s lives and help prepare them for school fuels them, and Kiddie Academy’s Life Essentials curriculum is a proven roadmap for accomplishing just that. Sarah and Patrick have a son, Preston, who was born in 2017.  Preston has added a significant fire to their passion for educating children, as they’ve seen firsthand through tutoring him how important getting an early start on the educational journey is to creating a positive relationship with school and learning. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and has maintained state required certifications for teaching early childhood classrooms throughout her career as a teacher.  Patrick is a credentialed Actuary, and holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics, as well as an M.B.A.
