What Can Families Expect When Touring Kiddie Academy of Laurel?

Choosing child care is a big decision, and sometimes the best way to know if a place feels right is to experience it for yourself. A child care tour gives you the opportunity to explore classrooms, meet educators, ask questions, and imagine what your child’s day could look like.

At Kiddie Academy of Laurel, we know every family has different priorities. Whether you’re looking for infant care, toddler programs, or preschool in Laurel, MD, you don’t need to have everything figured out before visiting. A tour is a great place to start!

Explore the Classrooms and Learning Environment

One of the most valuable parts of a child care tour is seeing where your child will spend their day. As you explore the Academy, take a look at the classrooms, learning materials, and spaces designed to encourage curiosity and discovery.

At Kiddie Academy of Laurel, our educational child care programs serve children from infancy through kindergarten. Our Life Essentials® curriculum incorporates age-appropriate learning experiences that support creativity, confidence, problem-solving, and social development.

During your visit, ask how classroom activities are tailored to different ages and how educators make learning engaging through everyday experiences.

Meet the Educators Who Make a Difference

The people caring for your child play an important role in their development. A tour is an opportunity to meet our team, learn about their approach to early childhood education, and see how they create a nurturing learning environment.

Our educators at Kiddie Academy of Laurel focus on supporting children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth while encouraging them to explore, build friendships, and develop independence.

Don’t hesitate to ask how educators help new children adjust, encourage communication, or celebrate developmental milestones. These conversations can help you feel more confident about your child’s care.

Picture What Your Child’s Day Could Look Like

Every family has its own routine, and understanding what a typical day looks like can help you decide whether a child care program is the right fit.

During your tour, consider asking about daily schedules, meals and snacks, rest periods, outdoor play, and learning activities.

At Kiddie Academy of Laurel, we provide nutritious meals and snacks, age-appropriate educational experiences, and opportunities for children to learn through play. We also offer our Academy Link® parent communication app, which helps families stay connected through updates and photos of their child’s day.

For families balancing work and busy schedules in Laurel and surrounding communities, our Academy is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Ask the Questions That Matter to Your Family

There’s no such thing as asking too many questions when it comes to your child’s care! Whether you’re curious about classroom routines, safety procedures, communication, or preparing your child for their first day, a tour is the perfect time to get answers.

At Kiddie Academy of Laurel, children’s safety and well-being are priorities. Our Academy features secure, restricted entry, authorized pickup procedures, and established health and cleanliness protocols.

We encourage families to ask about anything that will help them feel informed and comfortable with their decision.
