February Highlights

February was a month full of friendship, learning, and meaningful experiences in our classrooms!

Valentine’s Day Celebration

We celebrated Valentine’s Day with a fun class party and enjoyed handing out our friendship cards to one another. It was a wonderful opportunity for our children to practice kindness, sharing, and celebrating their friendships.

 Spreading Kindness in Our Community

Our Pre-K class took a special field trip to Poets Walk, where they spent time spreading friendship and kindness to the tenants. The children proudly handed out handmade cards and bracelets. A big thank you to one of our school-age friends who made over 50 bracelets for this special visit! While there, our Pre-K friends also participated in fun activities and shared lots of smiles. We are so proud of the compassion and joy they brought to others!

 Classroom Highlights

Hippos (Infants)

Our infants worked on strengthening their fine motor skills. They practiced using both hands together and developing their pincer grasp to complete simple tasks. We love watching their growing coordination and determination!

Bears (Twos)

Our twos focused on recognizing and matching basic shapes. They enjoyed hands-on activities that helped them identify circles, squares, triangles, and more!

Ladybugs (3’s)

Our three-year-olds worked hard on letter recognition, learning the sounds letters make, and practicing writing them. We are seeing great progress as they build early literacy skills!

Frogs (Pre-K)

In addition to their community visit, our Pre-K friends learned about Black History Month. They explored important historical figures, discussed kindness and equality, and engaged in meaningful conversations about making a difference in the world.
