I appreciate the constant communication provided to parents about their child’s day via messages, pictures, and videos. At pickup, the teachers take time to speak with parents about their child’s day. The food menu offers a variety, and it amazes me that my child does so well eating the foods offered. I am happy to see the children getting outside or in the gross motor room twice daily. Exercise and social play is so important. I love the social emotional learning added to the curriculum with the positive morning phrases of “I am strong, I am smart. I am nice. I am loved.” Moreover, I love that already at age 2, preschool academics and STEM are introduced. I am amazed that not just my child’s teachers, but other teachers know my child by name. I think teachers are rotated and floated into rooms, which I think is a wonderful idea. Then, once my child moves to a new age room, they may already be familiar with the teacher. The special events offered at KA are neat too! Furthermore, I love how KA brings the community to the academy. Guest speakers from the dentist and library have visited and presented to the students. I hope more programs and events are offered each month. After less than 4 months at KA, we have been impressed! ”
