Hello Families! I'm a fur baby mom to a beautiful bunny named Jinx and a rescue kitten named Wednesday. I have 10+ years of professional experience providing care and education to children while supporting families. I have both my B.A. and M.A. degrees in Early Childhood Education and currently pursuing additional education courses to expand my professional expertise. I am committed to providing an environment for children to thrive and develop a love for learning. I am passionate about learning and believe supporting our teachers and parents will result in children growing and learning in every area. When I'm not engaged in academy activities and day-to-day operations, I can be found enjoying life with my family and friends. I love to try new foods, activities and create experiences that make lifetime memories. I look forward to being a part of your child's early educational journey.

I am a mother of 2 young adult children and a new, first-time grandma. ☺ I have been caring for and educating children since I was 12 years old, and have over 20 years of formal, professional experience in the field with a majority of my time spent in early childhood education (ECE). My educational philosophy is Parents + Educators = A Child's Success. It is critical that we -- families & educators -- work as partners in ensuring children are provided opportunities to grow & learn while maximizing the effectiveness of these opportunities & providing a variety of experiences. I’m a “do as I do” type of leader. I do my best to model the expectations I desire my team to display, and I will do the things I ask of my team without hesitation. I believe we should all work as a cohesive team and make sure we support each other in maintaining success at work while finding a work-home life balance. Customer service, quality care, and safety are top priorities for my team and the families we serve. I believe we will always be successful if we provide the care, educational experiences, and level of customer service we’d like to receive. Most importantly, our true key to success is treating the children in our care as if they were a part of our own families.

“I enjoy that everyone seems to know and be part of my child’s care there. It is awesome that both the director and assistant director get involved. I like knowing my child is in good hands while he is there. I am a little disappointed in the potty training program being stopped as I think… ”
Samantha M., Livermore
