Charul & Raj Patel

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website!  I, Charul Patel, am the managing member for Kiddie Academy of Midlothian.  Raj and I both graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey and moved to Chesterfield County shortly after we married over 20+ years!  We have raised both of our children, Devan and Riya, here in the Chesterfield community and couldn’t imagine having done so anywhere else!  When opening this academy, our goal was to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which our amazing and caring staff would help us build the foundations for our children, in order to raise them to be confident, independent, smart individuals that will eventually take on the world!  We are so grateful for the Kiddie Academy family and all of the amazing KAM families that are helping us achieve this goal!  Remember “Community Begins Here”!

Amanda Johnson, Regional Director

Hello, I am Ms. Amanda and I have been the Director at The Kiddie Academy of Midlothian since June 2017 and will be opening the Watkins location. I have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Special Education from Old Dominion University. I have worked in the childcare industry for almost 20 years and adore every minute of it. I have lived in the Chesterfield area most of my life and love being close to the mountains and the beach. I am happily married and have 2 stepsons. We all enjoy the outdoors and being on the water.  I am thrilled to be a part of The Kiddie Academy of Midlothian family and watch it expand. I look forward to watching your children grow and explore the world around them for years to come!

Hello, My name is Ms. Deja and I am the Director at The Kiddie Academy of Midlothian. I am currently working on obtaining my Master’s degree in Education. I have been apart of the Kiddie Academy family since 2019. I started my journey as an Assistant Teacher and loved it so much that I decided to work towards become the Director. I have lived in the Chesterfield area all my life, and couldn’t imagine being surrounded by a better community. I am so excited to be a part of something so special and to watch your children flourish throughout the years!
