Katie Moore

As the parents of two children, I struggled to find a satisfactory day care. During my search I decided to embark on my lifelong dream of owning a business and fell in love with Kiddie Academy. Kiddie Academy possesses all of the qualities that I was looking for with caring teachers, a fun atmosphere and strong curriculum. I help oversee the day to day operations at our Bolingbrook, Darien and Oak Park locations and am working on opening additional locations.  I am very active with the Kiddie Academy corporate office in developing exciting changes to programs nationwide. Our children are our greatest blessing and during their time at Kiddie Academy, they received a well-rounded education while building on their personality and growth; all while having fun and making new friends! We thank you for choosing Kiddie Academy and I promise to give your children the same experience and treatment as my own!

Autumn Torre, Academy Director

I was born and raised in Connecticut and moved to Illinois in 2019. I've worked in early childhood education for the past 10 years, serving as both a teacher and an administrator. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from DePaul University and an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Post University. Additionally, I have received the Illinois Director Credential Level 1 and the Early Childhood Credential Level 4. My passion for early childhood education began with my first job as an assistant toddler teacher, where I quickly advanced to the lead toddler teacher role. Witnessing the excitement and "light bulb" moments when children learn something new or achieve something exciting is incredibly rewarding. Seeing them grow, learn, and excel is truly magical. I firmly believe that children thrive when given the right tools. By providing them with the space to learn through play and nurture their curiosity, they can achieve amazing things. I am very excited to get to know you and your families and to build strong, lasting relationships within our school community. Thank you so much for choosing Kiddie Academy of Oak Park, Learn On!
