    Christine Jennings, Director

My name is Christine Jennings and I am so proud to be the Director here at Kiddie Academy of Pasadena. I am a true Californian, born and raised in North Hollywood California but, I’ve also spent part of my Junior High and High School years in Bangkok, Thailand. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from California State University of Northridge. This will be my 23rd year working in the field of Early Childhood and I can definitely say that I have a true passion in working with children ages birth to Kinder. In my past roles in the field, I have developed strengths in various philosophies and curriculums of Early Childhood such as Emergent Curriculum, the RIE philosophy, Creative Curriculum, High Scope, and the Reggio Emilia philosophy. I am a big supporter of child directed/play based learning and enjoy mentoring my staff in the various ways that this can be implemented into the classroom. For my personal life, I have been married for 5 years and have a 3-year-old son that currently attends Kiddie Academy of Pasadena. I love to cook, spend time at the beach, and I’m a certified aerial fitness teacher!

I like their daily report about my son most. It contains a few sections including breakfast, lunch, sleep time, restroom, snacks and classroom activities with photos. By reading the daily reports, parents will have a better idea about how their child is doing during the whole school time.

I love Kiddie Academy of Pasadena. It's a very clean, safe, and nice facility. They hire individuals who go above and beyond. I feel comfortable knowing my son is left in good hands.
Elizabeth M., Pasadena

Flexible, reliable, and my son genuinely feels loved going here. He learns a lot and makes friends in a safe and comforting place. After two weeks away, he couldn’t WAIT to get back!
Michael B., Pasadena

Love the curriculum and the focus on teaching life skills. There’s plenty of opportunity to practice fine and gross motor skills, and the teachers genuinely care about the kids and whether they succeed. A huge added benefit is that food is included in the tuition. The menu changes often and the kids get exposure to…
Traci K., Pasadena

Diversity in play based activities that center on both knowledge acquisition as well as fine and gross motor skills and socialization. She's dirty and tired from fun play at the end of the day. :)
