Dr. Rose Ihedigbo

Dr. Rose Ihedigbo is a distinguished Educational Consultant, Trainer, and Quality Assurance Specialist with a deep-rooted passion for Early Childhood Education. With decades of experience, she has become a trusted voice in the field, working closely with child care programs nationwide to enhance educational practices and ensure quality outcomes. A dynamic public speaker, Dr. Rose is known for bridging theory with practical application, equipping educators and administrators to deliver excellence in early learning environments. She holds a B.A., M.Ed., and Doctorate in Early Childhood Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, grounding her work in both academic rigor and real-world insight.   In her role as Owner and Executive Director at Kiddie Academy, Dr. Rose leads curriculum implementation and drives developmental success for young learners. Her commitment to fostering nurturing, high-quality educational spaces continues to shape the lives of children, families, and early education professionals across the country.

James & Brittany Ihedigbo

James Ihedigbo, a 10-year NFL veteran and Super Bowl Champion (2012, Baltimore Ravens), and his wife Brittany, a registered nurse, transitioned from professional sports and healthcare to entrepreneurship in 2016 with the launch of Kiddie Academy of Lakes of Savannah in Rosharon, TX. After researching child care franchise options, they were drawn to Kiddie Academy’s strong academic foundation. With insight from James’ mother, Dr. Rose Ihedigbo an expert in early childhood education and their personal experience enrolling their daughter Grace, the Ihedigbos knew Kiddie Academy was the right fit. Since opening, they have built a thriving, trusted brand known for excellence in early education, high enrollment, and deep community ties. Their passion for educational development, family values, and operational excellence has made them standout leaders in the child care industry. Today, they serve over 1,500 children annually across multiple locations, continuing to invest in building a legacy rooted in learning and growth.

Amanda Morrison

New Academy Director
Amanda Morrison is the Director of Kiddie Academy of Richmond, bringing over 13 years of experience in early childhood education and preschool leadership. As a dedicated wife, mother of six, and proud “Loli” to five grandchildren, Amanda blends her deep personal and professional passion for nurturing young learners. Her leadership philosophy centers on creating a warm, collaborative, and innovative environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Amanda is committed to fostering strong partnerships between families and educators, believing that teamwork is essential to a child’s success.   With a proven track record of excellence in school operations and community building, Amanda is excited to build upon Kiddie Academy of Richmond’s strong foundation. Her vision is to cultivate a family-focused culture where excellence in education is not just a goal, but a shared achievement. She looks forward to connecting with every family and guiding the academy toward continued growth and success.
