Kietta Maye is a North Carolina native who has made Houston her new home. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a major in Women & Gender Studies and Human Development & Family Studies, Kietta brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for Early Childhood Education to Kiddie Academy of Richmond. Grounded in the principles of Conscious Discipline, she is dedicated to creating a warm and supportive home away from home environment for every child and family who enters these doors.

Hello! My name is Sylvia Nyakwol and I am the Curriculum Director for Kiddie Academy of Richmond. I am orginally from Alexandria, Egypt but have lived in Houston majority of my life. I have a Bachelors degree from Sam Houston State in Mathematics with a minor in Spanish, and almost a decade of childcare experience. On the weekends, I enjoy playing outside with my dog, Kallie and painting. My favorite food is sushi and my favorite children's book is Mouse Paint. I am so excited to watch your children discover new wonders in their classroom!
