Alaura Wilson, Center Director

Ms. Alaura has been in early childhood education since 2010. She grew up in a licensed childcare home where she and her family lived upstairs. From an early age, Ms. Alaura was part of the early childcare world participating in the care of children. Family means the world to her! She is married with two children, Jack 9, and Sage 8. They love spending time together outdoors and going on camping trips. Ms. Alaura strongly believes a child's brain develops more in the first five years of life than it will during any other period. She feels the role of an early childhood education provider is extremely important. Ms. Alaura feels children deserve consistency, love, and education and as childcare providers, we have the privilege of just being a part of it. When a child experiences a positive preschool program, it helps them to develop social, emotional, and academic tools that will lead them to success as they continue growing. It is her passion to help educators, children, and parents to create a solid foundation for our future, which are the children we serve. Ms. Alaura comes to us from directing a large Texas Rising Star four-star child care center which is the highest rating possible for Texas centers. Alaura joined us in November 2023 and made an immediate impact by making high-quality child care the minimum standard at Kiddie Academy of Rockwall.
