Melodie and Sanddy Marchena

We are a local family in the Lakewood Ranch area focused on being a true community partner within our neighborhood. We spent twenty years working in senior Management, Sales & Service, Operations and Project Management roles for Fortune 100 companies. While that may not seem as a ‘natural’ path to early childhood education, we have gained valuable experience in compliance, well-managed processes and design, customer service, problem solving and most of all leading with passion. We are most passionate about our children and family. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early learning and childcare experience which promotes each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in a warm, loving, and safe environment.

Michelle Frease

Academy Director

With over 20 years of experience, Michelle is an Early Childhood Educator known for high-quality learning environments. She excels in child development, curriculum planning, and early learning best practices. Having started her career in Ohio and now based in Florida, Michelle has led an accredited early learning program and ensured compliance with child care licensing. Her expertise includes preschool administration, curriculum development, staff training, family engagement, and state regulations. Michelle has helped programs achieve national accreditation through NAEYC by maintaining high standards in health, safety, and education. She holds a degree from Youngstown State University and significant leadership experience at Kiddie Academy. Additionally, she has earned Ohio and Aim4Excellence Director’s Credentials, as well as a Florida Director’s Credential in Early Childhood Education, showcasing her dedication to professional growth and excellence.
