Michelle Craig, Center Director
Hello, I’m Michelle Craig, the Center Director at Kiddie Academy of Stonebridge in McKinney. I was born and educated in England, where I attended an all-girls school and studied Art and Design. My passion for travel led me to a live-in nanny position near Houston, Texas, and, 30 years later, I’m still here, working with children and married to a Texan. Together, we have two wonderful sons. In my early career, I was the lead teacher in an infant room at a local weekday children’s program, where I earned my Child Development Associate credential and contributed to achieving NAEYC Accreditation for the school. I later took on my first role as a Center Director, and after spending four years in Devon, England reconnecting with family, I’m delighted to be back in the Dallas area. Outside of work, I enjoy organizing and decorating my home, cooking vegetarian dishes, and baking the occasional cake or dessert. I also love winding down with a good movie or TV show. At Kiddie Academy, my goal is to create a learning environment that enhances attention and focus, promotes meaningful experiences, encourages high performance, and motivates critical thinking—all while ensuring that every child feels safe and loved. As Mary Poppins wisely said, “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun, and SNAP the job’s a game!”
