Meet Our Team

Kaylah Charles

Center Director
Hi! I’m Ms. Kaylah, and I’m so excited to be part of Kiddie Academy. I’m originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, and working with children has always been my passion. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Applied Communications with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I’ve spent several years in early childhood education, both as a classroom teacher and as a center director. I love creating fun, structured, and nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping little ones grow, discover, and build confidence in who they are. Outside of work, I enjoy making candles, photography, reading, and spending time with my sweet dog, Kova. I bring energy, creativity, and love into everything I do, and I’m thrilled to start this exciting journey with your child and family!

Kelly Jensen

Assistant Director
My name is Kelly Jensen, and I’m thrilled to join Kiddie Academy of Stonebridge-McKinney as the Assistant Director. I have 20 years of experience in education, including 17 years teaching children ages 2 through 5th grade, 2 years as an administrative assistant, and 1 year as an assistant curriculum director. My passions include play based and sensory based learning, which I’ve had the privilege to promote as a workshop presenter at Richardson ISD’s summer conference. My husband and I live in Plano with our two daughters, Kris and Katie. Kris is a freshman at UNT majoring in computer science, and Katie is learning to drive. As a family, we enjoy Netflix nights, trying new restaurants, and going on road trips. As Assistant Director, my goal is to create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for every child while building strong connections with families.
