As we bid farewell to another enriching year at Kiddie Academy of Urbana, we can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared with our little learners and their families. It’s been a year filled with laughter, learning, and most importantly, a sense of community that makes Kiddie Academy of Urbana truly special.
Diverse Foundation, United Goals
Every year, our journey begins with a commitment to provide innovative early childhood education that goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. We believe in nurturing the unique potential of every child, recognizing that diversity is not just a buzzword, but a living reality reflected in every staff member and child that graces our learning center.
Along with providing quality education, our goal this year was to support staff development and well-being. With new initiatives including engaging professional and wellness challenges, personalized professional development plans, a foundation for a collaborative and supportive environment for educators was secured. This collective achievement underscores the dedication to excellence at Kiddie Academy of Gaithersburg and its ongoing commitment to fostering highly skilled educators. Congratulations to the entire Kiddie Academy community for a year of impactful grow and development.
Connection Beyond Classroom Walls
Community is at the heart of Kiddie Academy of Urbana, and we took every opportunity to connect with our extended family – the parents, guardians, and the wider community. From our Story Time Live Event and our Read by a Grandparent Day to our STEMVentures and Winter Workshop, our community has provided many heartfelt memories of the year. Whether it was our vibrant community days spent outdoors, or the spirited spirit weeks that brought everyone together, these moments were a testament to the bond we’ve built beyond the walls of our center. We are thankful to the artists who ensured we had week performances during the CampVentures Season, and the families that made our Trunk or Treat a success.
Local Community Strengthened
Beyond the joyous moments, Kiddie Academy took pride in supporting the community through various initiatives. Fundraiser, donation drives, and our Annual Art Auction were not just about showcasing our participation in these endeavors, but to actively contribute to the well-being of our community. Collaborating with small businesses and local charities, we aimed to make a positive impact beyond the classroom.
As we look back on this year, we are immensely proud of the growth, achievements, and connections we’ve fostered.
