Mr. John

As the owner of Kiddie Academy Vancouver - Salmon Creek, I'm very excited to offer another high-quality child care resource for our growing community. As the son of two educators, I've been involved in the education industry for over 10 years including early childhood education. Prior to partnering with Kiddie Academy, I had the privilege of managing employer-sponsored child care programs for organizations including: OHSU, University of Washington, Oregon State University, Daimler Trucks, Pixar Animation Studios, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. I'm thrilled to bring the same kind of high-quality child care and culture to Kiddie Academy of Vancouver - Salmon Creek.

Ms. Kesha, Academy Director

I am excited to be continuing my career as the Director at Kiddie Academy Salmon Creek. As a former Kiddie Academy Lead Teacher in 2019, I understand how important it is to have devoted leadership in order to succeed in the classroom. It is a privilege to be able to offer that support to our teachers, students and families.   I found my passion for working with children after graduating with my bachelor’s degree at Linfield College in 2018. I started out in "before and after school" child care where I was a Site Director and Camp Manager for almost two years before moving back to my hometown of Orchards. After being in a leadership position, I decided I wanted to continue along that path and master my skills to become an exemplary education leader. In 2020 I completed my master’s degree in Strategic Planning and Leadership. I am thrilled to able to apply those skills in my role as Academy Director.   My husband and I had our daughter in February 2021. She’s been a part of the Kiddie Academy Family since she was three months old. My passion for working with children and families only grew once I became a Mother. I value being a fellow parent at this school that families can depend on. My husband and I are extremely grateful to be surrounded by a trusted community at Kiddie Academy.

I graduated from Washington State University in 2020 with my BA in Human Development and a certificate in Early Childhood Education. I started as a Pre-K Lead Teacher at Kiddie Academy shortly after graduation, and am now an Assistant Director at the school. I have enjoyed getting to know all of our currently enrolled families and look forward to welcoming new families into our Kiddie Academy community as well! Working with children has always been my passion and there is nothing else I would rather be doing!

Ms. Holly, Assistant Director

I truly value getting to know our families in the Salmon Creek community, and look forward to continuing my career as an Assistant Director here at the Kiddie Academy of Salmon Creek. In 2018 I graduated from Clark College with my Associates Degree in Arts, I had aspirations of becoming a teacher. While attending college I studied medicine as a pharmacy assistant and worked full time in childcare. Those experiences lead me to opportunities of working among children and their life developments. This made my passion for teaching grow immensely. In November of 2020, I started working at our Kiddie Academy as a resource teacher. I loved teaching and while getting to know our community, my roles and passions have grown into taking great care of our entire academy.

Ms. Izzy, Assistant Director

I grew up in Sacramento where I received my AA in Early Childhood Education. I went on to work with all age groups from 0-12 years old for a few years. Preschool/pre-K kiddos had my heart. After about 5 years of being a lead preschool teacher, I was then offered the opportunity to become an Assistant Director, and I loved being able to support and watch my teachers grow. I moved to Vancouver in 2023 to finish my BS degree at PSU. I graduated with my BS in Social Sciences with a minor in Child, Youth, and Family studies. I am now in my master's program for a dual major in counseling/school counseling. Children’s education, well-being, and safety have always been a passion of mine. I extremely value community, so I’m so excited to be a part of the KA community in Salmon Creek!
