We Are Patient

During the month of March, our theme is We Are Patient. Children of all ages will practice waiting, staying calm, and persevering when things don’t happen right away. Infants will build early focus and calming skills with teacher support. Toddlers and will practice taking turns and developing self-control. Preschool and Pre-K students will strengthen patience, flexibility, and resilience as they solve problems and navigate classroom routines. Through daily experiences, children will learn that patience helps them grow, learn, and build positive relationships. The two books we will be highlighting are How Do Dinosaurs Stay Safe? by Jane Yolen and Waiting Is Not Easy! by Mo Willems.
