Chicks Hatch, Curiosity Grows at Kiddie Academy of White Plains

Spring is bringing exciting learning experiences to the classrooms at Kiddie Academy of White Plains! This week, students welcomed a group of newly hatched chicks, sparking hands-on lessons about the life cycle and the wonders of science. Children have been eagerly observing, asking questions, and documenting each stage of the chicks’ growth.

The excitement doesn’t stop there… our caterpillars have also arrived in most classrooms, giving students the chance to witness metamorphosis up close. In our Caterpillars class, students are enjoying a special twist with ladybugs instead!

As the days go on, our students are building connections to nature and developing a deeper understanding of living things. We can’t wait for the much-anticipated butterfly release day, where we will celebrate this incredible transformation together.
