At the heart of our business is a strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which is defined by having a positive economic, social, and environmental impact on society. At Kiddie Academy®, we focus our CSR efforts into three categories, starting with Community.
Giving back on a local and national level is essential to strengthen the communities where we live and work. At Kiddie Academy, we achieve this through various fundraising, partnerships, and charitable initiatives.
National Efforts
One of the ways we prioritize giving back to the community is through an ongoing partnership with Family Promise, a national nonprofit organization delivering innovative solutions for family homelessness including prevention, shelter, and stabilization services.
Since the inception of our partnership in 2021, we’ve worked with Family Promise on a variety of fundraising drives, in-person events, and awareness campaigns, resulting in:
- Over $140,000 raised
- Thousands of dollars in in-kind donations of food, clothing and school supplies
- 63,000 families were served in 2023 —including 97,300 children
- More than 80% of the families in shelter programs exiting to stable housing
Local Efforts
Supporting our local communities is critical to making a difference. Through our CSR Community pillar, we provide a suite of resources to support Academies’ independent cause marketing efforts and facilitate several philanthropic initiatives with centralized support throughout the calendar year. Some examples include:
Holiday Giving
Kiddie Academy leverages the holiday season as an opportune time to teach children about helping others in their community. As a result, in 2024, 15 Academies hosted toy, food, and coat/clothing drives that provided thousands of items to local families in need.
Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Week
Every year, Academies across the country celebrate Random Acts of Kindness, an initiative hosted by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation that encourages people across the nation to focus on how they can spread kindness within their communities. In 2025, various Academies partnered with local organizations such as assisted living and retirement facilities, hospitals, and charities to complete thousands of kind acts such as donating essential items and sending Valentine’s Day cards.
CSR will always be an integral part of the Kiddie Academy brand. We look forward to seeing how Academies show up for their communities in 2025 and beyond!
