At Kiddie Academy® Educational Child Care, our commitment to community involvement is a fundamental part of our culture. That commitment was brought to life last Friday during our annual Community Volunteer Day, as members of our corporate team came together to support Harford Family House, an organization dedicated to serving families experiencing homelessness in Harford County, Maryland.
Throughout the day, volunteers engaged in a variety of service projects, including preparing apartments for incoming families, completing outdoor improvements, and assembling welcome baskets to help ease the transition into new living spaces. These efforts reflected our shared goal of offering comfort, support, and a sense of belonging to families in need.
In addition to the in-person efforts at Harford Family House, remote team members across the country also participated by volunteering with local organizations in their own communities. From distributing food to supporting local shelters, their contributions demonstrated that the spirit of service extends well beyond our headquarters.
