For the third straight year, Kiddie Academy® Educational Child Care has achieved a top quartile FRANdata FUND™ Score. Our 2023 FUND™ Score is 915 (out of a possible 950). That’s up from our 2022 score of 900 and up 30 points from our 2021 score. It’s good news for us that could translate into great news for you!
FUND is like a credit score for franchise systems. To arrive at the score, research and marketing firm FRANdata evaluates 13 publicly available credit risk and performance categories of a franchise brand that influence unit-level performance.
A top-quartile FUND Score is evidence of the financial stability of the Kiddie Academy system. The Kiddie Academy FUND Score is determined based on a variety of important criteria including Historical Unit Success Rate, Unit Economics and Projected Unit Success. A FUND Score of 915 assures Kiddie Academy Franchisees that they will have access to the best available credit terms, lowest equity injections and a simplified credit approval process.
Just qualifying for a FUND Score is proof of performance over time. The score is only available for brands with enough size and longevity to work in FRANdata’s algorithm. It’s based on 10 years of performance history. Having a score this high says a lot about the strength and resiliency of both the child care category and our company.
