With Veterans Day around the corner, it’s the perfect time to honor the incredible individuals who have risked their lives to serve our country.
Veterans embody selflessness, courage, and integrity – traits that those of us at Kiddie Academy® hold in high esteem. This is why we’ve welcomed more than 20 U.S. veterans into our franchise community through our long-time partnership with VetFran. A strategic initiative of the International Franchise Association and the IFA Foundation, VetFran’s mission is to educate veterans and franchisors about the unique match between the skills and aptitude of entrepreneurial veterans and the demands and opportunities of being a franchisee. As a VetFran participant, Kiddie Academy offers qualified veterans a reduction of up to $25,000 on their initial franchising fee.
Veterans possess a unique set of skills. They have experience following specific protocols, know how to stay centered in stressful situations, and are experts in overcoming challenges. Most importantly, veterans are extremely self-driven. Their discipline, unwavering dedication to hard work, and strong leadership skills make them ideal candidates for franchise ownership.
Bringing veterans into the Kiddie Academy community is something we take great pride in. This year, it earned us #29 on Entrepreneur’s 2024 list of Top Franchises for Veterans.
