As a Kiddie Academy Franchise Owner, you’ll be responsible for providing educational child care, increasing and maintaining enrollments, managing business operations, inspiring a team of educators, and supporting the families of the children in your care. Our Franchise Owners are also responsible for implementing our proprietary Life Essentials curriculum, as well as upholding the Kiddie Academy® values: Trust, Respect, Innovation, Collaboration, and Integrity.

The following are the minimum financial qualifications for most markets and can be achieved either individually or with a group of chosen business partners:

• Liquid Capital: $250,000 (if leasing); $600,000- $900,000 (if purchasing)

Designed by our Learning & Development team, Kiddie Academy training is hands-on and takes place at the Kiddie Academy headquarters in Abingdon, MD. There, you will learn all about our proprietary Life Essentials® curriculum, comprehensive operating practices, tools and resources, and our exclusive online learning platform, Kiddie Academy University.

You will work with over 130 full-time, dedicated members of our corporate staff across various departments to open your Academy, including:

• Real Estate – helps you select an ideal site for your Academy
• Finance – assists you with developing a personalized business plan, the application process, and the funding of your loan
• Construction team – helps you navigate the development process
• Learning & Development – leads your franchise training and introduces you to our supportive tools and resources
• Marketing – sets up your website and online presence and develops a comprehensive local marketing plan to drive interest and brand recognition
• Technology – provides innovative and easy-to-use solutions unique to Kiddie Academy that improve your customer experience and optimize operations

Yes. At Kiddie Academy, we provide ongoing support to ensure our Franchise Owners are given the tools they need to succeed. You will be connected to a Franchise Business Consultant who will serve as your primary point of contact and provide comprehensive on-site and virtual support before, during, and after opening. This includes facilitating access to corporate resources such as Operations, Marketing, Education, and technology.
