“Comparing only 5 star daycare's, I cannot find any in Asheville that come close to the amount of extra days taken off by KA. Why is this? I have compared several that are just as expensive or more with only 5 star quality and finding that they are taking 10+ days less off then KA is. I'm having a hard time with this, and would like an explanation as to why this daycare is doing this and NO others in Asheville are. I have now compared 6 different 5 star facilities and finding the same thing every time. We work full time already and struggle with just the holidays alone that our jobs do not recognize. So, when extra days like teacher work days, cleaning, and summer break are added in, we end up with zero vacation days for ourselves since these were used to just care for our children during the week. I thought this is what daycare was for. We love this school, and plan on keeping our kids here until Kindergarten, but we are struggling with this as many other parents are as well. Can you consider less days next year? More Teacher work days on holidays? No summer break? Any of this would help since most full time parents are feeling the same as we do. Thanks”
