“Honestly, what I like most is the facility itself which, in my opinion, sets itself apart from other day cares we visited. It is very bright, very open, high ceilings, great lighting, lots of windows, decent amount of space for the kids, etc... The facility itself is very inviting & makes you want to stay. Also, love their playground areas with the artificial turf as oppose to mulch/chips (which tends to get your child extremely dirty) & some areas are covered. Other day cares we visited seemed like dungeons, dark, dingy, dirty & small spaces. So this made a significant first impression for me. Secondly, I like that younger classes are broken up into 6 month timeframes. Thirdly, most of the teachers have been great but lets face it no one is perfect & I don’t think any day care is perfect. However, any issues we have had with the staff, which have not been many, we will communicate with the director & feel as though it is promptly addressed. Now that our daughter is older, I feel the educational activities are top notch, with the availability of computers, learning centers, many pre-planned educational activities throughout the week & even homework. We also feel our daughter has learned tremendously from attending Kiddie Academy of Plantation.”

It is important to have teachers who love their job and take interest in a child's development. To hire such teachers, it becomes equally important for the daycare operators to treat their teachers well at all levels. Kiddie academy has done a good job in hiring good teachers. We hope the daycare will continue to take child care/development and also its teachers as a priority.”

“I like all the updates via email. I mostly enjoy getting pictures throughout the day so I know she is happy and safe. It gives me a way to remind her what she did during the day so we can talk about her day together. The staff is all very friendly as well. They really helped my daughter (and I) get through the tough transition from staying home full time, to going into a "school" setting.”
