“I enjoy that I can check on my children throughout the day via closed circuit tv. I also enjoy the food preparation/ideas etc. That are given within the center. The sign in screen is also a bonus and a great tool for directors and teachers to communicate with the parent.”

“I like that there is an established ciriculum, daily schedule, creative projects that enforce coordination and growth development in addition to learning the basic abcs, 123s. It is very helpful for me that nutritious lunches and snacks are provided. But most of all I have had such positive experiences with the teachers and staff. All are very caring and I feel safe that my children are being taken during the time they are at school.”

“We love "Ms. D" and how passionate and caring she is about taking care of our daughter. She seems to really love working with children and truly makes us feel comfortable about leaving our infant with her everyday.”

“Kiddie Academy of Windham is a place which fosters academic achievement in every task they endure. The cirriculum is well versed and the children are always very excited with the many projects, crafts and games the teachers conduct. Recently, I read the that those who educate children well should be honored more than the parents who raise them. This statement could not be any more true of this center as the main goal of the center is to keep our children safe, secure and happy while also nurturing them in every way possible.”

“Consistency in the programs/curriculums. I had initially wondered how long those great ideas would last and am happy to see that it (or similar replacements, if any) has remained in place. I appreciate it so that when my child moves between classrooms, I know what to expect for the most part. I am glad that a lot of playtime is still present as I am proponent of learning through play as well. Just a recommmendation that when a child moves between classrooms, it would be nice to know what routines will be changing into the new classroom (i.e. potty training, potty training expected to be achieved before moving up, nap time reduced to 1, naptime eliminated completely). That way, we as the parent can continue the work on those same challenges at home. Sometimes I feel disconnected in those basic communications/expectations and don't want the teachers (and us) to feel frustrated with us as a result of that disconnect. For example, when my daughter's new classroom dropped to one naptime, I would have liked to do that at home so that her routine remained consistent with the daycare's over the weekend.”
