All aboard the Abingdon Express!
Kiddie Academy of Abingdon helped make the season sparkle at the 35th Annual Town of Bel Air Christmas Celebration, joining the community for an afternoon of hometown holiday magic in Downtown Bel Air.
Families lined Main Street for the beloved Christmas Parade, featuring marching bands, festive floats, scout troops, costumed characters, and even miniature horses dressed as reindeer. The parade ended with a joyful welcome for Santa and Mrs. Claus, delighting children and grown-ups alike.
This year, the Kiddie Academy of Abingdon team and children stole the show with a homemade cardboard steam train float lovingly crafted with creativity and teamwork and brought to life with support from our local Lowes. The whimsical train added a playful, North Pole-inspired touch that kept parade-goers smiling from start to finish.
After the parade, the celebration continued at Shamrock Park with holiday music, a cozy bonfire, and local food vendors serving seasonal treats. Kiddie Academy of Abingdon proudly sponsored the Cookie & Hot Cocoa Station, spreading extra warmth (and plenty of sprinkles!) as neighbors gathered for the community Tree Lighting.
From cocoa cups to candy cane smiles and a cardboard steam train that sparked imaginations the Kiddie Academy team loved helping little ones experience holiday magic up close!
