Kiddie Academy of Abingdon Gives Back at MIX 106.5 Radiothon
Giving back to the community is an important part of who we are at Kiddie Academy of Abingdon, and we are proud to share that our team recently volunteered at the 37th Annual MIX 106.5 Radiothon, benefiting Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
Director Kortney and Pre-K teacher Mr. Connor joined other volunteers at this meaningful event, which is the largest single fundraiser for Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. The radiothon brings together individuals, groups, businesses, and corporations to sponsor, donate, and tune in to 106.5 FM, where inspiring patients and families share powerful stories about how their lives have been changed through the care they received.
By volunteering their time, Kortney and Mr. Connor helped support the mission of Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and contributed to a day focused on hope, compassion, and community. Their involvement reflects Kiddie Academy of Abingdon’s ongoing commitment to teaching children the value of kindness, generosity, and helping others both inside and outside the classroom.
