Mrs. Smita Singh is a dedicated middle school biology teacher with over a decade of classroom experience and three years in educational management. She holds a Master’s degree in Zoology with a specialization in Fisheries, blending academic depth with a passion for inspiring young minds. A proud mother to a teenage daughter, Smita brings empathy, creativity, and curiosity into every aspect of her life. Outside the classroom, she’s a lifelong learner who enjoys canvas painting, sculpting, poetry, reading, and traveling. She also holds a diploma in yoga and lives by the philosophy of karma—believing that every action shapes the future. Smita’s holistic approach to education encourages students to explore, question, and grow—not just academically, but personally. Her mission is to nurture a love for science while fostering resilience, imagination, and kindness in the next generation.

Maribel is originally from Puerto Rico. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Office Systems Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude, along with a Professional Certification in Nonprofit Corporation Management from the University of Puerto Rico. With more than a decade of experience in nonprofit administration and community service, Maribel has led projects focused on education, family engagement, and community development. She also served as a School Food Services Supervisor for the Puerto Rico Department of Education. In 2024, Maribel joined Kiddie Academy of Carmel-Westfield, where her dedication and strong work ethic led her from housekeeping and floater teacher roles to Lead Teacher. She also earned her Child Development Associate (CDA®) Credential. Passionate about early childhood education, Maribel is committed to supporting children's growth, partnering with families, mentoring educators, and creating a positive impact in the communities she serves.
