Last week, Academies and the Kiddie Academy® corporate staff celebrated Random Acts of Kindness, an initiative hosted by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation that encourages communities nationwide to reflect on simple ways to make a positive impact through kindness.
Together, Kiddie Academy was able to complete 10,047 acts of kindness that ranged from things like children helping educators clean up and set up activities to creating handmade cards for healthcare workers, donating food, and more.

“Random Acts of Kindness Week strengthened our Academy culture by helping students practice empathy and positive social skills in meaningful, everyday ways. The experience united classrooms and families around a shared purpose, showing that small acts of kindness build strong character, supportive communities, and future leaders.” – Kiddie Academy of Orlando-Conway.
A few that stand out include:
- Kiddie Academy of Katy West, who brought families together to support individuals experiencing homelessness by collecting socks, gloves, hats, and blankets, assembling gift bags filled with Valentine’s notes, and personally delivering the donations.
- Kiddie Academy of Indian Land, who turned kindness into a far‑reaching mission by creating friendship links and sending Valentine’s greetings to 52 schools, assisted living communities, friends, and family members.
- Kiddie Academy of Meadowbrook‑Birmingham, who partnered with Seniors of Shelby County and created handmade cards filled with cheerful messages and artwork.
- Kiddie Academy of East Setauket, who celebrated everyday kindness through children giving compliments and comforting their friends to families holding doors for one another and staff baking Valentine’s treats.

Every year, Random Acts of Kindness provides a powerful opportunity to embed character education, helping children develop essential values like respect, sharing, manners, friendship, and compassion.
In celebration of Acts of Kindness Day on February 17, we are also pleased to announce Kiddie Academy of Morgan Hill, who completed 169 acts, as the winner of a $1,500 donation to their nonprofit of choice!
Thank you to our corporate staff and the Academies who participated in Random Acts of Kindness this year. Your thoughtful actions helped inspire meaningful conversations about how powerful kindness can be.
