Where did the time go? My youngest is starting full day childcare in a school environment this year. He’ll be introduced to structure, curriculum, group play, and music class – the whole nine yards. I’m so excited for him to start this new chapter, while simultaneously scared to death. As parents, we can only hope our children adapt, bloom and spread their wings…like a butterfly. Sounds so cliché doesn’t it? I.Don’t.Care.
You know what I’m really nervous about? My new routine. As selfish as it may sound, I’m not looking forward to getting two kids out the door and ready for school every day. It will surely take some time to adjust but it’s the norm for most parents I guess.
