Accreditation at Kiddie Academy

What is Child Care Accreditation?

When parents are looking at child care options for their children, one of the major factors that often influences their decision is accreditation. Accreditation is a measure of quality assurance. It’s validation by a third party that a child care provider’s practices and facilities meet established standards.

Is Kiddie Academy Accredited?

Kiddie Academy encourages and supports each independently owned and operated franchise location to secure accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the gold standard for excellence in the field of early childhood education. We also recommend that Academies seek the highest level of achievement at the state level. We provide support and expertise to all Academies that want to pursue the esteemed honor of accreditation and take their business to the next level.

Members of the Kiddie Academy Education Department are available to support our Franchisees as they work toward accreditation. Through an initial discussion, we work together to determine the level of support needed.

Among the ways our team can help are:

• On-site visits to consult with the Franchisee and management staff
• Training – professional development for owners and management
• Webinars to help with training or the accreditation process
• Gathering materials and helping complete the paperwork involved in the process
• Regular calls to gauge progress and needs

When an Academy receives accreditation, here are just a few things it signals to parents :

• High-quality curriculum and practices
• Qualified and prepared teachers and staff
• A safe, caring environment
• Excellent communications with families
• An ongoing process of self-review and improvement
• Continued commitment to keep the community engaged
