The genuine care the teachers, staff and school administrators have shown him and our family is immeasurable. They have celebrated his milestones, supported him through challenges, encouraged his independence, and gotten to know him as an individual. He has never felt like “just another child” and our family had never felt like “just another family.” The school has also provided a wonderful balance of academics, structure, play, social development, and opportunities for children to explore and grow. I have always appreciated that the staff and administrators communicate with parents and genuinely want to work together to support each child. Leaving Kiddie Academy is bittersweet for us because this school has been part of our family for so many years. “We had an amazing experience at Kiddie Academy of Floral Park. My daughter spent two years there, and it truly became a second home for her and for our family. From the beginning, we felt confident leaving her in the care of the teachers and staff. Over the years, we watched her grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. The teachers played such an important role in helping her become more independent, confident, kind, and ready for her next chapter. What stood out most to us was how much the teachers genuinely cared about her. They knew her personality, her strengths, and the little things that made her feel comfortable and happy. The communication with us as parents was also something we really appreciated. After 2 years years, saying goodbye was honestly bittersweet.
