Supporting the communities we serve is an essential part of who we are. That commitment came to life through our recent volunteer initiative with Moveable Feast, an organization dedicated to providing medically tailored meals to individuals experiencing food insecurity and chronic illness.
On May 29, 10 volunteers spent the morning working side by side in Moveable Feast’s Baltimore kitchen. The team contributed to critical daily operations that directly support local families, including:
- Packaging 1,159 trays
- Preparing 467 meals
- Bagging 1,717 meals
- Assembling 164 deliveries
Together, these efforts helped ensure that hundreds of individuals received the nutritious meals they depend on.
This experience highlights how team members use Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to give back in meaningful ways. By stepping away from day-to-day responsibilities and into the community, employees contribute their time and energy where it matters most. Efforts like this not only support important work within our local communities but also strengthen our collective commitment to making a lasting, positive impact.
