Local franchisee honored at national educational child care provider’s annual conference
College Station, TX (July 12, 2018)—Megan and Brian Van Dyck, owners of Kiddie Academy of College Station, TX, located at 4516 Mills Park Cir., recently received the Brand Champion award and New Academy of the Year award at Kiddie Academy’s® Annual Conference, held last month in National Harbor, MD, where hundreds of franchisees from over 200 academies nationwide were considered for the program. The Van Dycks were among the best of the best at this year’s conference, which recognizes exceptional franchisees who have made a lasting impact on their communities through some of the most progressive, accredited, and high-quality educational child care programs in the country.
The Brand Champion award recognizes individuals in the Kiddie Academy community who go above and beyond to help build the brand. Brand Champions are a vital part of growing the community by investing time talking with prospective franchisees, mentoring new franchisees in the system, and participating in leadership roles in various Kiddie Academy programs. As champions of the brand, these franchisees embody the Kiddie Academy vision and mission within their academy, within their local community and within the Kiddie Academy franchise system.
The New Academy of the Year award is given to an academy that has celebrated its six-month anniversary during the award’s year, met Kiddie Academy standards, supported the Kiddie Academy brand, and worked consistently and creatively to build enrollment in the academy.
According to the President of Kiddie Academy, Greg Helwig, winners were honored for their extensive contributions to the Kiddie Academy system by way of mentoring, leading, and championing the brand’s key growth initiatives. Other common denominators among award recipients include excelling in the areas of profitability; ambassadorship of brand systems, standards and processes; customer service; staff motivation and retention; and community involvement.
