National Small Business Week at Kiddie Academy

It’s National Small Business Week and the Small Business Administration (SBA) has designated this year’s theme as “Dream Big, Start Small.”

Every year since 1963, SBA takes the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from across the nation through National Small Business Week.

According to the SBA, more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the United States each year. Each new Kiddie Academy location brings up to 30 new jobs to the community and between 50-60 other construction jobs prior to opening the school. With more than 150 Kiddie Academy locations nationwide, the company is responsible for bringing thousands of new jobs to communities across the U.S.

As the SBA highlights the impact of outstanding small business owners, we at Kiddie Academy want to recognize the impact of exceptional Kiddie Academy entrepreneurs. Every day, Kiddie Academy franchisees work to grow their small business and meet the growing demand for education-based child care in their communities. They create and train 21st century educators, drive innovation in the education sector and raise the bar for high-quality care with extraordinary educational components in the child care industry and beyond. We also honor the contribution Kiddie Academy franchisees make as caregivers and leaders in guiding young children to reach their fullest potential.

Inspired by this year’s Small Business Week theme, “Dream Big, Start Small,” we’re sharing a call to entrepreneurs to be part of the Kiddie Academy dream to influence the change and innovation of 21st century child care. At Kiddie Academy, we dream big, and start big, too. As entrepreneurs, we have big intentions to do big things by bringing the best educational child care to new communities. Will yours be next?
